In a significant humanitarian effort, the United Arab Emirates has dispatched 62 aid trucks to Gaza, loaded with 980 tonnes of essential supplies. This convoy, which includes food, medical supplies, and shelter materials, is aimed at assisting civilians impacted by the ongoing conflict in the region.
The aid was organized at the UAE Humanitarian Aid Logistics Centre located in Al Arish, Egypt, as part of their initiative known as Operation Gallant Knight 3. This operation commenced in October 2023 and has seen the UAE extending support through various channels including land, air, and sea.
Apart from delivering supplies, the UAE has established medical facilities and has been instrumental in the evacuation of thousands of injured and critically ill individuals, providing them necessary medical treatment. These efforts highlight the UAE’s commitment to alleviating the humanitarian crisis faced by the people of Gaza.
