In a significant meeting held in Abu Dhabi on Thursday, UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan engaged in discussions with Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah. The dialogue underscored the UAE’s unwavering dedication to fostering national development and supporting its citizens as central figures in the country’s strategic growth plans.
During the talks, both leaders reiterated the importance of Emirati citizens, emphasizing their essential role in realizing the UAE’s long-term goals. They also expressed hopes for the nation’s continued security, prosperity, and advancement. Accompanying Sheikh Hamad was Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
The meeting was attended by prominent figures, including Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; and Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs. Additional attendees included Sheikh Dr Rashid bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Fujairah Culture and Media Authority, alongside various ministers and government officials.
This gathering is part of the UAE leadership’s ongoing consultations aimed at reviewing national priorities and enhancing inter-emirate collaboration to improve the quality of life for both citizens and residents. The discussions also serve to strengthen the unity among the emirates, ensuring cohesive progress across the nation.
The meeting follows President Sheikh Mohamed’s visit to Fujairah in April, where he and Sheikh Hamad toured Fujairah Port. During that visit, they reviewed ongoing development projects and operational enhancements, underscoring the port’s significance as one of the UAE’s key maritime gateways.
