Etihad Rail’s passenger service connecting Abu Dhabi and Fujairah has marked a significant milestone one month after its launch, contributing to increased tourism and business activity, as well as enhancing regional connectivity within the UAE. Looking ahead, Etihad Rail is set to expand its passenger network in phases. The next stage in this expansion includes the opening of stations in Dubai and Sharjah on September 30. This will be followed by the inauguration of stations in Madinat Zayed and Liwa on November 30, which will further bolster mobility and contribute to economic growth across the nation.
