Smart Tech Predicts Hotter Days, Humid Nights for UAE Eid Al Adha

by admin477351

The United Arab Emirates is set to experience a rise in temperatures, accompanied by humid nights, during the Eid Al Adha holiday, according to forecasts. The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology predicts that weather conditions across the nation will largely remain fair to partly cloudy throughout the holiday week. As summer draws near, temperatures are expected to progressively climb.

A temporary dip in temperatures is anticipated on Sunday, which may also bring fog or mist in some western and coastal areas during nighttime and early morning hours. However, hotter weather is predicted to return on Monday, just as the Eid break begins for government employees.

During the holiday period, temperatures could reach up to 43°C in Al Ain and 41°C in Fujairah. Light to moderate winds are expected, with occasional gusts reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h. Increased humidity levels are also likely during the nights and early mornings, particularly in coastal areas.

Meanwhile, sea conditions in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea are projected to remain calm. The ongoing increase in temperatures indicates a gradual transition into the UAE’s summer season following a relatively mild spring. In recent weeks, several regions have already seen temperatures surpassing 40°C.

Officially, summer in the northern hemisphere begins on June 21. This astronomical marker coincides with the UAE’s unfolding seasonal shift as it embraces warmer days.
