Temperatures in mountainous areas are forecasted to range from 29°C to 35°C.
The heatwave comes with high humidity levels, which could reach up to 95% in certain parts, significantly increasing the chances of fog or mist overnight and in the early morning. This could lead to reduced visibility, impacting driving conditions particularly in coastal and inland areas from late Saturday through Sunday morning.
Weather forecasts indicate that these conditions will persist into the coming week. Residents in the eastern regions should be prepared for possible cloud development from Monday afternoon, which could lead to convective clouds. The recurrence of fog or mist is expected during overnight and early morning hours through Wednesday and Thursday, posing continual challenges for visibility.
Winds across the UAE are anticipated to remain light to moderate, occasionally strengthening to around 35 km/h. Meanwhile, sea conditions are predicted to be generally slight, with some periods of moderate to rough conditions in the Sea of Oman, potentially affecting maritime activities.
